Thé noise level was the biggest issue. It seems as though it may need a larger studio space. Very cramped, the person that was behind the register was extremely rude in terms of what she felt towards the customers. This was April vacation. When we returned to pick the items up they couldn’t find our items, I found our items. Customer service skills are important. We will return with great hesitation.

I went with my wife on her birthday yesterday. They were playing punk rock music about the end of the world. When I asked about chancing the music because it was making my wife uncomfortable the woman behind the counter said "Fine" and changed it. To 1990s Grunge about being cheated on, then she smiled. When a panic attack followed the same Blue haired woman Insisted my wife mark the bottom before she left, then when we started to leave the employee said "you need to do that in paint" and brow-beat my wife (on her birthday) into marking it despite us saying we weren't going to pick it up. I don't know what to think. We have been to the Salem location multiple times with no issue. I hope this attitude towards customers is not a growing trend. All in all we might not be going to a you're fired in a long time.

Lots of fun! We've gone a couple times and it's been a relaxed atmosphere where we can take our time painting bisque pottery ready to be picked up in a week. The staff takes care of everything! All you do is the fun part. The selection is pretty broad. If you're wondering whether you can decorate something in particular, chances are the answer is yes. Prices are moderately high, think $50 for a visit for two, but I think it's worth it.

Usually yes. However some weeks like NH vacation weeks they are first come first serve.

Yes but with caution: The bisque you will be painting and handling is VERY dry and porous, so it can be contaminated by small amounts of greases, oils, etc from fingers handling food. This will cause the glaze (paint) not to bond with the bisque when fired. So you can bring food, but be careful of greasy items (like pizza), and keep your hands very clean while painting.
I believe the answer to both of those is no. The bisque seems purchased, so I don't think they mess around with clay. The whole theme here is painting bisque that they then glaze and fire for you. We've been here a few times and that's the only thing I've seen done.
Sorry no - we do not allow any outside bisque, paint, or a anything to be fired in our Kilns other than products supplied by us, for the safety and integrity of the firings, which hold dozens of customers items.
