I never leave reviews, but this place was unbelievably rude. Treated us so horribly for trying to give them business that we simply cut our losses and didn’t get anything. Incredibly unclear website and service. They tried to turn us away from picking up pizza (no drinks at all) just because one of us had a vertical ID (he got it renewed before turning 21, therefore in our state it was printed vertical despite him being 24 now). They kept yelling at us they don’t take vertical IDs in Maryland (despite every other place we visited here including the liquor store being fine with it) even as we tried to explain we weren’t buying alcohol we just wanted to pick up our pizza order. I’d recommend skipping this one if you’re attending an event on the beach. They get frustrated with the crowds and take it out on customers. Much better places around to choose from.

I don't know if I will return. The bartender was amazing. But we had to keep reminding the server about our order. By the tune we got one of our appetizers we were ready for the check. I didn't even take photos because I was constantly looking for the server.

Always the best pizza anywhere! A trip to the beach will never be complete without it. Dan the manager at this store was amazing tonight! We placed an order with the wrong store and he fixed us right up in no time. Even took our pic with the moon rising over the ocean!

We love the saucey pizza from grotto! There is not another pizza like it! It is in a category all to itself..big shout out to our server Max from CA who was excellent! They are lucky to have you!
