We just had E&E leave not too long ago. First time homeowners and neither of us grew up with septic so we had no clue how frequently to service. Started noticing issues last night and called them this morning. They showed up within an hour and pumped our very full septic tank. They gave us some informationa recommended a good service interval. Couldn't be happier with the level of professionalism, the prompt response, and the friendliness of the two gentlemen who showed up.

I am so upset with this company. We had them come out to change out a septic tank in my new house. At first everything seemed to be fine. But as the year went by I had issues with odor. Fearing the worst I had Called them and they came back out to the house. Was advised to dig up my distribution box to track the problem. I dug up most of the pipes for the system only to reveal that they had connected to the wrong pipe. After calling Epping septic and explaining what the problem was they suggested I fix it my self or they would charge me 500 to fix there mistake. We are all humans and we make mistakes but it is how one deals with the situation that makes the difference. Not sure how it is right that I should have to pay to fix the problem that was cause by them.

They did a great job for our emergency call. Answering service responded promptly early on a Monday morning and they were here within the hour. Chris and Brandon did a great job finding the tank quickly, removing the cover carefully, pumping out the tank, removing a large mat of roots and checking to make sure everything was working as it should before sealing it all up neatly. Couldn't ask for better. Price was very reasonable, especially considering the level of service.

Questions & Answers

Are there any wipes that are biodegradable in the septic tank? I was told that this one is OK to use in a septic tank/field system: Baby Green Biodegradable Baby Wipes Unscented – (6 Packs of 72) 432 – compostable 99% Pure Water Plastic

Even though they claim to be Biodegradable, I still wouldn't recommend flushing these wipes down the toilet weather you are on city sewer or private septic. The problem with the wipes is they don't breakdown like toilet paper. So they cause blockages and damage to pumps. Pumps on the vacuum trucks or pumps at the sewer treatment plants or sewer ejection pumps on septic systems. You can still use the wipes but they should be thrown in the trash, with them being biodegradable it certainly makes them more environmentally friendly.

Hello, do you service the Barrington area? and if so how much would it be for the service?

Do you have the beacon-like - gps tool that is flushed and used to locate the septic system? Ours is an old system, no plans on file, not a straight shot from the house, and we have already tired digging.

Hello Kathleen, I apologize I am just seeing this post now. Yes, we do have a GPS tool - it's called a "Sewer Rat" there are additional charges when we use it. But if you are having a difficult time finding the tank, I can say our techs normally are very good about locating a septic tank without the use of the GPS tool. Please call our office if you are still in need of septic service. 603-659-8150. Thank you!
