This review is for dining only. We didn’t stay at the Inn. Café Drydock is a perfect option for downtown Southwest Harbor if you’re looking for something super convenient and need a change from frequenting the Lobster Pounds OR if everything else is closed on a Monday or Tuesday. The crab cakes were so-so, but everyone else in my family really loved their dish. The Lobster Mac & Cheese was on point, and not too rich like many of them. My mom is picky about her Lobster Mac & Cheese and loved it. They have some casual selections and some great seafood and salad items. Excellent service as well! I would give it 4 stars just because of the service and interesting combinations but it’s not a “must-go-to” restaurant. Definitely a wonderful place and I would recommend it. Enjoy some of the photos I took and give it a try.

The Mac and cheese was delicious according to my 12yo daughter and I liked the fettuccine Alfredo very much. Cons, waitress never checked on us and the Alfredo was a bit on the cold side. Honestly, the best food in the Acadia area so far.

Great restaurant. Went twice in the week we were in Bar Harbor and both times were great. We sat in the bar/cafe side both times. Food quality was very good. Our friend did say they Alfredo was getting cold when they were served it, but I'm not knocking a star for that as the other 9 meals and drinks in over those two times were excellent and very tasty. Staff were very friendly and polite, and knowledgeable about the menus. As an aside, their are other stores in this area as well making the stop for lunch or dinner great.

Can’t speak to the food since I came in the off-season/shoulder season. I loved my room and had maybe the best sleep of my entire road trip. Owners were pretty particular about things on the info sheet so I was afraid to disturb too many things. But considering it is their establishment I just rolled with it. Great proximity to Acadia!

We are located on what is called “The Quiet Side” of Mount Desert Island, as it’s not as hectic over here as it is in Bar Harbor. There are many beautiful mountain top or seaside walks on the quiet side of Acadia National Park. You are just a couple miles away from Flying Mountain, a favorite short hike in Acadia National Park with spectacular views. One of the most placid and soul-filling locations in the park is Ships Harbor, just a few miles away. Take a hike along the rocky shore, explore tide pools, watch million-dollar yachts sail by, or take a nap in the refreshing sea air.
