Disappointed does not begin to explain how I feel about here. I’ve been ordering from here for about 4 years now. I’m originally from Queens so I’m not a stranger to Jamaican food. Island Jerk, 4 years ago, was not bad and was good enough to keep me from making the travel down to Queens. But, within the last 2 years or so, the food taste has dropped off. At best the food is a hit or miss. Today specifically the food tasted as if someone forgot to use seasoning and reminded me of my grandmother’s diabetic food. I think it’s time to call it quits with ordering from here, looks like it’s back to Queens for me 😩 Oh, and the worse part, is that it looks good so it has you fooled until you take that 1st bite🤮

I wasn’t expecting much from Long Island in terms of Caribbean food but Island Jerk set the bar so low it might as well be under the building. 15+ dollars to get home and find TWO OXTAILS???? And not even big ones? No gravy on the rice (which was hard and dry btw). Cabbage was flavorless and sad. Only redeeming quality was the plantain. The reviews don’t lie. I would never recommend this place to anyone.
