Definitely needs renovations but not horrible if staying overnight. Rooms are basic and could use some kind of updating. Greeted with peeling wallpaper, chipped paint, rusty fixtures in the bathroom and nothing outside of a basic economy stay. Small refrigerator and cups, no microwave or coffee maker. There is a restaurant and a coffee shop on the ground floor which came in handy. The food was okay with decent sized portions. Casino has 2 levels but is small. Young man at the check in desk was friendly. Overall, good for a quick getaway or to try your luck.

I recently stayed at this hotel in Islandia, NY.. at first glance the hotel looks great, BUT once we entered the hotel room it was obvious that the room wasn't cleaned properly, it smelled like an old motel room. The beds were made nicely but the sheets smelled bad, like they could be washed a few more times. We only stayed for one night (thank God), we didn't even shower in the morning because the bathtub was dirty and the drain had a large amount of rust around it. I'm just giving an honest review of my experience, and one more thing, don't forget your ID if you leave this hotel, upon trying to re-enter you will need to show ID even if they know you are a paying guest. If a hotel manager is reading this, please have maintenance replace the drain ring in the bathtub in room 814, it's a terrible look to have rusty fixtures and expect guests to want to put their feet in that.

Management was amazing, I didn't gamble but enjoyed ourselves very much. Jake the bartender was entertaining but so were we. He was very pleasant and made me my special drink ;) I will so stay there again. The front desk let me check in due to unfortunate circumstances. I give Jake's a 10 if I could!!! Thank you for always making us feel welcomed!!!

Had a nice time. Everything was clean. Staff there was on top of cleaning and sanitizing. Won back some of my money, so that's always a plus. Also had some lunch in the restaurant. Food was delicious. Came out fast. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive.
