Last year my husband and I went to the Port Jefferson Margaritas. The service was horrible and so was the food! They apologized and sent a gift certificate to give them a second chance. We took it to the one in Smithtown. We where greeted kindly but placed in a busy area. We moved then ordered. Our dinner was excellent but no one came to ask how our food was or if we wanted anything more to drink as my glass was completely empty. We constantly had to hunt down someone to get my glass filled with water and boxes for the food then the bill. It’s such a shame that for a nice restaurant you don’t put more detail into customer service.

Excellent Mexican food, many choices of drinks as well. They sing and play music for special occasions. Great atmosphere.

We had our first dining experience here last night, and from the moment we arrived, the entire staff welcomed and treated us to top rate service! The food and drinks were delicious, the ambience was delightful, but it was the friendly wait staff and the Manager on duty (Brendon, I believe) who really sealed the deal for our prompt return. It’s a rare experience to witness a Manager so attentive, professional and engaging not only with customers but in how he supported his staff. We could hear the guests around us sharing our sentiments, and as a former restaurant employee for many years, I know that employing such a capable and customer-centric Manager and staff on site is how you pack your crowd with happy, returning customers. Excellent job, Maragarita’s!!

The food + drinks were really good, but me and my friend literally didn't see our server apart from when we first sat down. I'm not sure if it was because they were incredibly understaffed when we went or something else, but we had three different people being waiter/waitress because the original waiter was...somewhere. Kinda weird experience, but the food was super good!
