Bring dog repellant spray. MANY dogs off- leash. I have a small dog who is always leashed; if a large dog off-leash approaches my dog it could easily become a disaster very quickly. I have seen Pit Bulls, German Shepards, and Rottweilers off leash. I don’t enjoy having to say to dog owners “there is a leash law.” People are very inconsiderate in every realm of society today including wooded walking trails. There is no enforcement of the leash law, it is a social courtesy in a world where there is no courtesy.

Great place to take a walk with the family. I enjoyed the quietness and cleanliness of the park. It has many paths to take. The drive from my house was beautiful. They had a barn by the park with horses. I'd recommend for a nice run or walk for a breath of fresh air.

Amazing park! Great for a walk or a run. Beautiful scenery and wildlife especially in the summer. The trail is not dangerous however, in some areas it gets muddy when it rains, so be careful. Most people nornally use the main trail but there are some smaller trails that divert and eventually reconnects back later. There are multiple lakes and a stream that connects them which is great for photos. Overall this is a good park

Beautiful county park for running or walking. Parking can be located by the equestrian center on California Rd.

Yup, there's a lot off of California Road in Eastchester, just north of Highland Avenue.
No, this is only a hiking trail.
I dont think you can. I have never seen people swim there and I am not sure about how clean the water is however I've seen people fish in kayak at the Lakes.
Like 2 miles.
They do allow fishing
I've seen it done
