I just want to express how pleased I am with the care my Mother is receiving at Methuen Village , she has a nice apartment and the staff is always there to help her and meet her needs. The building itself is clean, modern and well maintained . There are many activities for her to enjoy , she especially likes the yoga and the bus rides with Keith who makes every trip an adventure . The staff is professional and if I have any questions or concerns they are addressed in a timely manner. I could not be more pleased with the care my Mother receives at Methuen Village and more importantly she is happy living at Methuen Village. I normally work the 4:30pm but I was working the morning shift for a couple of weeks. I would come in at 9:00 In the morning. It was so nice and peaceful here early in the am. It was warm and cozy. I could smell coffee and breakfast cooking. The residents were all happy and fresh, ready to start their day. Very nice cozy, atmosphere to start their day off. :)

Yes! We call it a Short-Term Stay. Naturally, many older adults are hesitant to move at all, never mind make a long-term commitment. So, many of them opt to live in our community for a short time to see if it’s the right fit for them. Some stay for a week, some are here for months. Families really like that we have no minimum length of stay, which is very unusual in the assisted living industry. Often people move in for a very short time and then extend their stay if they like it for an even longer trial. We can be very flexible. Our short-term residents get a fully furnished apartment, and any wellness services they need like help managing their medications or getting dressed in the morning. They also have full access to all of our fabulous amenities like three restaurant-style meals a day, an active social life with lots of programs and entertainment, and van transportation to local shopping and medical appointments.
Yes! We have been open for quite awhile - since 2009. We just completed some major renovations and our building is looking better than ever! If you haven’t been to visit us, stop by. We are conveniently located in downtown Methuen, yet we are nestled at the end of a private road overlooking the Spicket River and Riverwalk Park. The views are amazing. We offer assisted living and we are highly respected locally for our memory care.
It’s difficult to give an exact answer because the total monthly cost depends on the type of apartment and the services your loved one needs. Also we offer both assisted living and specialized memory care in two different areas of our building. Memory care is more expensive. On the flip side, our community is unique in that we have several financial programs that reduce the cost. We have over 20 apartments available through an affordable program for people with moderate and lower incomes. We also help all our residents who are veterans take advantage of a special benefit that reduces their monthly cost by over 1,000. And we accept long-term care insurance. We urge you to give us a call to let us know what your situation is. We can usually give a good ballpark number over the phone.
