Wow this place is wonderful! It doesn't look like that much from the outside, and it's in a bit of a weird location. But go through the restaurant to the back terrace, and it is a hidden paradise! White tablecloths on two levels, a fountain, plants growing all around, and there was live music on the Thursday evening we went! You'd think you could see or hear the highway or street, but you can't at all. Service is attentive and forgiving of long staying patrons. Food is divine. I recommend the halibut with risotto, the apple pear salad, the panacotta, and the Croatian sunset drink. Great place for romance, or a nice dinner with friends. Definitely will be back.

This is an insanely great spot. I mean they have it ALL! Amazing Food, Service, Ambiance all of it. We loved the food and it is so well worth the hour drive. We will be going back often.

I love simple foods, complex foods, and trying foods from other cultures. Sometimes being “food adventurous” can leave a bad taste in your mouth; literally. Other times, like today, you come across the most delicious food in the most unexpected places. Yesterday I was driving and just happened to see Dubrovnik: A taste of Croatia. I had never even really heard of foods from Croatia, but I thought “I’m going to have lunch there tomorrow.” Wow, what a fortunate turn of events. I walked there today and arrived to find that they had received a Michelin star earlier this year. I was now excited and decided immediately to take my time eating and to order outside my comfort zone. I had octopus to start. Without getting all food criticy, it was possibly the best seafood I have ever eaten. It had a mild seafood flavor without being fishy in the least. The texture was meaty and not rubbery. It had just the right amount of char from the wood-fired oven. The plate was completely empty except for a well used lemon wedge when I finished. The pork chop was delicious as well. The seasoning was nice, the meat tender, and the fat melted in the mouth. That said, the octopus was the star of the show. Thank you, Dubrovnik. Ramble ended 😂.
