The museum was interesting with some pretty cool military vehicles and stuff. Me and my wife enjoyed it. I would only complain that the woman at the front desk was rather rude. I had a Coupon for two free passes and when I attempted to use it the woman said they no longer accepted them. So I gave her the 28 dollars and prepared to enter the museum. At this point she snickered and made several Comments about how old the coupon was and where I got. When I pointed out there was no exp date she slammed my money back on the counter and said there ya go. The ironic thing is I found out the coupons where given to my grandparents in law for donating several of the pieces in the museum.

From the outside and online pictures, I expected a good experience. It was twice the size I expected and very well done. The first large exhibit area has tons of stuff and doesn't force you into a specific path or flow around the room. Then there is the "timeline" hall with nice, small exhibits from 1939 to 1945. From there you enter the vehicle room which doesn't disappoint -- 2 tanks, 2 half-tracks, 2 jeeps, duck boat innards, and lots of small exhibits. Well worth the admission price and return visit.

Love this place. I gave it 4 stars because I do wish it had at least a few hands on things for the kids to do. But other then that we all enjoyed it. Staff was pleasant and knowledgeable. Building was well maintained and clean inside and out.

Wow! I was so very impressed! My mother-in-law and I decided to spend a rainy day visiting the museum. The exhibits exceeded our expectations. I was also completely blown away by the staff. They were truly wonderful. I had a great conversation with Bill. He provided excellent book suggestions. Connie was also lovely. She was very kind and knowledgeable. The staff made the visit even more enjoyable.
