Very nice place to take you kids to. The most attractive thing is the Sea lion they have lunch time that's when the zoo keepers feeds them. Also, there have a nice little play ground for kids which is really nice for making your kids happy.

It's a very nice Zoo 🐱. I really recommend to visit! 👍 There are many different animals and beautiful birds. 🦜🐦 Check the working hours before, it closes usually pretty early: around 4-5 pm.

Took our 4 yr old here for his birthday. He loved it even though he kept asking where the monkeys were. The Aviary with all the birds was a sight. I did not like how poorly the Bisons looked. The sea lions were happy enough but seemed to need more room. Overall the zoo was very clean lots of room so as not to be on top of anyone.

On Friday I chose to take my 5 year old here on a whim. It's not too far to travel. The online process to buy the tickets was quick. Once you get there, they scan the QR code from your tickets and you can walk straight in at the gate. If you buy their mask, you have to go to the window to get them, so we had to wait a couple of minutes on line. There's not a whole lot of animals, but there was still enough to see that my child was entertained. There is a gift shop and a little area to sit and eat, with a food truck (we didn't get anything, I btought our own snacks). There's also a little kiddie park outside the zoo with a carousel and some rides, but you need to buy tickets at the entry to be able to get on those rides. Also, bring quarters for the petting zoo! The animal snacks are in gumball machines. Overall, it was a nice Saturday afternoon outside.

Yes there is free parking but you much be the right lot because there also one for $10
About 2 hours. Yes handicapped parking.
The lots west of zoo are free, but I've never seen them empty enough to expect a spot. The parking next to that on the street rotates enough that we we found a spot within 5 mins of circling, and it was never more than a 3 block walk. Getting there early is probably the key.
No new animals this year, but the young animals born in the previous year are on view. Kids love finding the bear cub
Open still you good
Usually yes....but since covid you have to purchase online tickets due to 50% campacity
