It is a nice little family style restaurant. The food was pretty decent- more like home made food versus restaurant style. I ordered papdi chaat, samosa , barfi and gulab jamun. Good to see continuous in and out patrons. They could improve the store layout and make it more inviting, use plastic wrappers for greasy food and some small changes can benefit them. Will visit again.

One of the most authentic places to feast at. Visited here from Toronto, Canada and felt like I was eating a home cooked meal. The quality of the food speaks for itself in the fact that you don’t feel uneasy after filling up your belly with whatever you order from the menu. The free lassi was one of my favourite parts and I thoroughly enjoyed the buttermilk goodness. I took back 8 boxes of their famous barfi and till now I order boxes and have them shipped here, it’s been 8 years since I first ate there. Visited once again recently and can say other restaurants don’t compare. We have hundreds of India restaurants in Toronto, Brampton and Mississauga and have yet to try something as good as this place. Thanks for the great service and homemade food. Will always visit when we are in town.

It’s been so unfortunate that being a punjabi community which is know for its integrity and you guys charge extra then what we need to pay. This is really not good. Attest be truth to your business I will never come to such place where they don’t take care of there own true clients

Hey proud Vegetarians! I am back with this exciting place i tried in the New York City. You should definitely try Aloo Tikki Chat. Chats are all about chutneys and they make is the right tangy, sweet and spicy. The kind lady will only charge you $6 and serve you food worth $20. I mean the quantity this Dhaba serves is huge. The taste of the food is soooo good that i bet you won’t miss India for a moment. I also tried their veg thali as you can see. It costs $8 and is super delicious made with pure butter, fresh vegetables, lot of paneer and LOVE! QUANTITY at less price, EXCEPTIONAL TASTE and LOVE is what makes this food joint special. I would definitely travel from New Jersey to New York around 40 miles to have this delicious food.

I am not at all agree with what michelke sharma is saying, in fact it's one of the best restaurant for exclusive Indian punjabi food i have ever experienced in NY in last 10 years, i really enjoyed the food very well and all the items are very delicious. But. yes i agree that the service is little slow, but it's understood, because they prepare the food after you order your item, so whenever you visit this place please keep it mind at least 30 minutes waiting period, but when you start eating the food after that 30 minutes waiting period, you will realized that 30 minutes is worth waiting.
