Still have the car Layla I got here 3 years ago! I would come back if I needed another companion. This one is great!

The people were very laid back and let us wander around and meet the cats. It was very nice to see which cat we connected with. We found our new friend and are thrilled.

Adopted my two family cats Osiris and Isis (their names) from this shelter back in 2009, a brother and sister. They are still going strong. Sweetest and best animals I have ever owned. In 12 years, they have never once scratched, bit or hissed at anyone and they were abused as kittens, it shows you how much love and care they've had both in the shelter and with my family over the years.

I got two beautiful and awesome cats for my home. So far they're working out great. I have no major complaints the only reason they didn't get five stars is because the adoption process I believe is a little bit inconvenient and somewhat annoying. These people will insist on a home visit or a Skype interview. Although I understand their reasoning I found it to be very condescending and a waste of time.

I believe you can be any age to volunteer, but if you're under a certain age (and I don't know what that age is), you need to volunteer with a parent. Give the shelter a call or email and ask Heidi what the age is.
There are kittens in foster care right now. Keep checking their Facebook page to find out when they'll be arriving at the shelter.
