This place is great! The owner is very friendly & the coffees & baked goods are extraordinary. I was on a 1st date so the laid back casual atmosphere was perfect. We sat on the couch with our cappuccinos listening to soft music...we'll be back for our 1 yr anniversary in 2 weeks!

In the early 1990's I used to set up at a Flea Market in the Manchester Parkade. It was held in the Old Channel Lumber building. Anyone remember? Well Strano's bakery was there, and the woman there used to scream in her best Italian accent all the time Bread, Pastry Strano's. It was SO annoying and horrific, Saturday in and Saturday out. I NEVER purchased anything from them. It was day old baked goods and bread,(or even older they were four for a dollar), and she was Oblivious to any of us selling also, that wedidn't need her screaming it all day and I mean ALL DAY! Just thought I would give my opinion. I still see her in my mind. It was an unpleasant experience.
