Good option for skiing right here in CT. Night skiing (6-10pm) is also a good deal at $39/adult. Snow making made conditions quite good. Will return.

First time visiting this mountain with my 8 year old whom is a new skier. We visited on a Wednesday evening because of their Sunnyside Learning Area, which was great! This area is dedicated for brand new and novice skiers. It includes 2 magic carpets right next to each other that take you to either a small or large bunny hill, and 1 small ski lift to 3 smaller trails for those that have graduated from the bunny hill but may not be ready for the larger regular trails. The only downside to this ski resort is that it only had 1 ski lift to take you to the top of the mountain operating, and the wait to get on was extremely long and packed with people. (edit: it has 2 main ski lifts but only 1 was operating at the time) This was on a weekday evening, so I can only imagine how much worse it would be on the weekends. I would visit again, especially since they have night skiing every day of the week.

This place was beyond perfect for our 1st time learners. Mark M was an amazing teacher with our kids. Everyone in the rentals area were super helpful and super patient with us. Doing the lessons at night was great as there was plenty of room to learn. The pricing was the best around by far for 1 and 1/2 hour lessons with ticket and rentals included.

I have been skiing here since I was a kid, and now my kids ski here and enjoy it just as much as I did. They have excellent instruction and kids programs, really great family events, and awesome events for teens. The mountain is by far the best in CT, and I have been a season pass holder forever. If you live it CT, this is as good as it gets!! All of my favorite memories of being a kid revolve around Sundown... hanging out in the lodge, skiing in snowstorms, skiing in the rain with hardly anyone there. This is a great place to spend your time. Now that Im an adult, it also has a cool bar area to hang in after skiing with friends with great beers on draft. Long Live Ski Sundown!

They have packages including lift tickets rental and classes at a pretty good price
No, they will not be open tomorrow. They also don't offer tubing.
