The airport is set up well and the 30 bus is very helpful. Some stores have closed inside the airport and the variety for affordable food isn't the best. I do like that there's ample places to sit and relax.

Everything typically goes well at this airport. Quick rental car shuttle, quick TSA inspection, and good connections to where I need to go. There are pretty good food choices and typically plenty of places to charge your devices.

Bradley International Airport is located in Windsor Locks, Connecticut. I was picking up a friend and upon arrival I discovered that the parking had increased including a newly remodeled parking garage from which there was easy access to the arrival flights bagging area. Masks were required by all and security guards were in place. The airport was spotless. I waited only 5 minutes for my friend and luggage was available only 10 minutes. I was pleased by all the improvements and by the amount of carriers now available there.

There is no currency exchange at Bradley.
Flights generally start boarding about 45 minutes before the scheduled flight time. Ed Bradley there are a few peak times for the security line but usually if you give yourself 10 minutes to get through the line that should be enough. If you have an e ticket then you literally have to walk up to the kiosk and print out the ticket get in line and then walk to your gate. A rule of thumb is 2 hours, but at Bradley you can probably do an hour and 20 minutes safely.
I have used this airport heavily for over 30 years with not one incident. In my top 5 airports. Delta and Jet Blue provide a great service. Did you use Spirit?
Yes there is. It's called Connecticut limo. They run shuttle Vans between Bradley Airport and New Haven. That's the best way to go unless you use Uber.
Spirit airlines offer the lowest fair to Houston. Not the most comfortable, but deffinetly cheaper by a few hundred bucks!
Depends on where you are coming from
If you are shipping yes. You should ask TSA if you can carry on board. No for riding in Terminal.
