I find that VIP in Ellsworth is very upfront about cost before they service your vehicle. They are honest and give their best opinion for what you need. They are prompt and efficient. I like that I get a triple A discount as well as a rewards discount.

I had a break line blow while I was in acadia. It took these guys a day to look at it but they were honest and didn't take advantage of a traveler. Would definitely go back if I lived in the area. They were even nice enough to try and help me find a hotel room

We are here on vacation from Florida and friends let us borrow their car. We were on our way to our camp and the car was making a terrible clunking noise. We looked up garages in the area but most were closed. VIP was open but said they were very busy and short staffed so couldn’t work on a car until the next day. When I explained our dilemma they said they would look at it to assure that we weren’t in danger if we’d wait until they got a break. When we got there we didn’t have to wait long at all. They discovered that the lug nuts on the front tire had come loose and that we were in danger of the tire coming off! They fixed it immediately despite their very busy schedule and said we should come back in a day or two so they could recheck it. They were so nice and knowledgeable and they didn’t charge us anything. It’s very hard to find such great service these days!! We would HIGHLY RECOMMEND VIP!!

Hello Mary Ann, we no longer carry any car parts or supplies as of 2013! You can certainly ask/check with O'Reilly Auto Parts that shares space in our stores, but aren't part of VIP. Thanks!
No they dont and from personal experience they dont know what they are doing there. They wanted to cut out my trucks fender to make the tire fit. Do not go there...
No, they sell tires and work on vehicles. If you go to a parts store you can save VIP parts mark up by purchasing direct. Go to NAPA or another parts store and save yourself some money.
