I recently saw Wicked there. Not only was the show amazing, the people who work there were kind and courteous. I paid for obstructed view tickets, no obstructions at all. I'm going to see Hairspray there next. I can't wait.

Saw a touring production of Wicked at this theatre today. It was a really wonderful show. The opera house itself is grand and ornate, truly a gem of the Boston theatre district. The show was pretty full for a matinee and yet every person on staff was patient and friendly. We had no issues finding our seats. The one downside is the seats are small and kind of cramped. Otherwise it is a great place to see any touring show. I feel there should be a mention of the audio people running the sound. We were all the way up in the last row of the center balcony and had no issues hearing the actors. There was never a moment when their mics dropped, things got muddled or too loud. We are already looking forward to returning for Hamilton and Beetlejuice! Edit: masks are currently required (also vaccine cards but no one seemed to check them). I know some folks are complaining about the mask wearing but in all honesty it didn't bother me much at all. Pretty much every person I saw was abiding by the policy. We have to be mindful that this theatre is a business and like all businesses holds the right to change their policies based on what they feel is best for their guests and employees.

Grand entrance and not a bad seat in the house. I've been to several performances at this theater, sat in a different section every time, and have never been disappointed. If you're looking for Playbill touring shows without all the fuss and expense, this is the place to be! Venue staff are accommodating, the seats are relatively comfortable, parking can be a pain so take the Uber, and be sure to have your vaccination card as this is one of the few venues still strictly enforcing the mask up/vaccinate policy.

What an amazing performance! Again amazing! The theater itself is beautiful!!! Definitely a ten out of ten on the venue and the ballet! If you’re on the fence about it do it! You will absolutely not regret it! It was a beautiful rendition of the nutcracker and the staff was helpful and dedicated. The dancers were so good it was an emotional experience but so stunning. Can’t wait to see another performance here in the future!

Very nice place also saw Lion King at over $100.00 per ticket so it depends on the show had a Limo so didn't have to deal with parking, the place is worth checking out inside without a show, great architecture!
Everything from sweats to suits. When I went it is all about who your with and how you want to represent,!
Each play or opera has its own merchandise. The opera house does not have its own.

Yes! Directly across the street there is a large parking garage.
You should check Ticketmaster online
The Lafayette Parking Garage has lots of handicapped parking!
The people that sat next to me in the balcony section had a booster seat for their kid which was supplied by the theater. Might help to see things better with a booster even in the orchestra.
We took the Motorcycle, There's Motorcycle parking meter spots all throughout Boston, only .25 an hour for Metered parking for Motorcycles.

Walk west to the Park St. station and take the T from there or walk north to Downtown Crossing and take that to Park St. You'll see signs at Park St. telling you which track to take to North Station or ask a T staffer.
The touring company has a different staff than the Broadway show but show is the same.
When I went I didn't feel awkward being casually dressed but many people were dressed up.

Sip is great! Our group had such a variety - from chicken parmesan to sushi to buffalo chicken mac & cheese to tuna flat bread. And everyone loved their food!
You can do it, just plan enough time.
I like to park at the Hyatt across the street. It's probably the closest and I get a discount with my season tickets. If you go in early for dinner before the show, there are plenty of spots.
Call the box office
Downtown crossing
Snack food and beverages, including alcoholic beverages, are sold. Other merchandise like t-shirts and posters is also available for certain shows.
No there is no valet parking. There are numerous parking garages around the venue within a short walking distance. Remember to take the parking pass with you because you have to pay before you go back into the garage.
