Food was just ok. Wait staff was exceptional. The biggest problem was the price. Substituted sweet potato fries instead of regular. Most restaurants will up charge. They charged full price, an extra $4.00 for each of us. You would expect this if your meal also came with the reg. fries, but didn't. The menu stated the meal came with pickles. For some reason they placed 4 or 5 pickle chips in a bowl and charged $1.00 for them.

We loved our meals but waited a VERY long time between drinks,apps, and entrees. Waitress wouldn’t come around for 20min at a time. Gave us our check then disappeared for another 10min so we just left cash and left, not sure what she thought would take us so long especially since we were done with our meals...other tables nearby even were shaking their heads in disappointment. The food is great but maybe time to hire some more staff or retrain the older bunch.

This was our first time at Sammy's and overall it was a great experience and family friendly place. Our waitress was attentive, the food was good, and the staff was very friendly. The seafood chowder was amazing, but my suggestion would be to make the reuben a bit better, as it was SO rubbery I could barely chew it. Other than that one minor detail, we enjoyed our visit and would return again.

My burger was ordered well done. I got Pink inside with the out side charred very well. My companions Alfredo sauce was so thin. Our first visit and we were not impressed. The burgers and dinners are couple of bucks more then I'm willing to pay for the mediocre meals.
