I had a sick stray cat in my back yard, might have been hit by a car. Called these folks, within 30 minutes an animal control worker came over, caught the cat and took it to a vet. My neighbor also had a recent positive experience with these folks. Wish I got the gentleman's name, he was excellent. Also Patty in the office was great.

They are too busy to help and that's not their fault but what I'm angry about is how they sympathise with you and tell you they will send someone out to help. You get your hopes up and you keep looking out the window every time you hear something thinking maybe it's them, stay at home waiting and keep the phone close so you don't miss a call from them and then nothing happens. You call again and same thing. I would rather just be told the truth that they can't help.

Questions & Answers

Why can't I walk out my own door without having to avoid feral cats? It seems to be a real problem in Deltona ,and the "catch ,fix and release" is simply not working. Do we do this with other invasive animals or just the"cute" ones?

I have the same problem. They catch them, release them and there back. I have birds. I feed birds. I'm sick of these cats.

If you Captured the dog call animal control. Or both you and the dog go to the hospital asap for rabies tests

Call animal control...but cats especially feral ones are HARD to catch! So they will give it a shot but not spend a lot of time on them.
