I prefer shopping here Over Home Depot. Cleaner, more friendly, available a knowledgeable staff, and if they don't know they call someone who does. Easy return process and no one hassles you for window estimates or central air installs as you shop. Unlike Home Depot where you are accosted the minute you approach the door with salesmen trying yo get you to buy expensive services. When I go to a hardware store I don't want to be hassled. I want to get what I need and get home to work on my project. If I want window estimates or central air, I'm a big boy I will make the call myself. Lowes is by far your best option for this area in my opinion.

Steve in Pro Services noticed me looking for help within minutes of entering the store. Took me right to what I needed. There were multiple sizes he found the correct ones and I was cashed out after 15 minutes of being in the store. Visited Lowe's again today and found great customer service once again. Way to go Lowe's your staff is great.

Failed delivery of a $3400 item, failed communication of delivery along with one of the worst customer service experiences I have seen. I ordered a lawn tractor with a delivery of 5 days later and a window of 8am to 8pm. I contacted the store the day of delivery to get a better time after no contact from Lowe's. I was informed that the delivery will not happen and they didn't know when it would be delivered. Since I re-arranged work and personal appointments to be available for a 12 hour delivery window, I called to speak to a manager to get details on next delivery. I called 10 times with most a calls going to extended hold times, pickup with immediate hang ups. I will stick to Home Depot.

Was shopping for a new oven and the price increased over $100 overnight. I hoped they would work with me a little. Not a penny. That struck me as silly--after all, they had someone willing to spend hundreds on on appliance, and I'm pretty sure they'd net a profit either way. Not sure if this inflexibility is store-wide or Lowes-wide policy, or I just got the wrong employee. Either way I bought the same oven from Home Depot, where their employees were happy to work with me to make a sale.
