I just started training at Gracie Tampa HQ a few months ago, but I’ve become absolutely hooked. The instructors are fantastic; knowledgeable, clear, and supportive. I love the variety of classes they offer, and training Jiu Jitsu and striking has become something I look forward to every week. A really great gym. I have trained here for about six months and have been continually impressed with the quality of instruction in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and striking. They have a large number of coaches from varying training backgrounds and the owner and head instructor is Royce Gracie’s first black belt. The training environment is very relaxed and comfortable for new students. The instructors and other students are friendly and really make you feel welcome. Additionally they offer discounts for military and first responders. Another great thing is the owner Rob is involved in dog rescuing and often his personal dog or foster dogs are around. A really great environment to train in.

Unfortunately they no longer teacher kids classes. However there are many schools within the gracie Tampa family whom do offer children's classes the closet to this location would be Gracie wesley chapel
Yeah Rob teaches on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays at night generally. Night classes start at 6pm and go until 9pm usually.
There is an app called MINDBODY where you can look up their schedule. Search for Gracie Tampa North inside the app and it'll come up.
Hi Anthony, yes we sure do! On Tuesdays and Thursdays we have a 7am class and then everyday from Monday-Saturday we have classes at 10am. If you have any further questions, give us a call anytime.
Hi Dean...I believe we spoke on the phone earlier but to answer your question, it really depends on you. If you have several years of training under you already and are at a high level, then it's not too late. If you have never trained before and are just starting at 28, it'd be extremely difficult to get to get to the UFC level in that small window of time. Again, it's all depends on you...your athleticism, how fast you learn, your dedication, etc. We can provide the tools, the facility and the coaching but the hard work is on you.
