I know that you can park overnight in the MBTA garage overnight even if you are not taking a train.

Take the train from Beverly to North Station. At North Station, transfer to the Green Line. Take the Green Line to Park Street and transfer there to the Red Line. Take the Red Line toward Alewife and get off at Porter Square stop.
