I was lucky to be seen right away after using the web check-in function. Had a great experience, was treated well by friendly staff and left with clear instructions on how to proceed.

Went in today around 8:30am, I rolled my ankle and it swelled up very big, I was in a lot of pain when I entered and was carried in by a friend. The women working the desk was one of the rudest and the least sympathetic person I have ever met. I asked for an estimated wait time as I sat there in the empty waiting room in tears and was told “ I don’t know all the rooms are full”. I asked if it was possible to get Advil or a bag of ice to help my pain and was told “there’s a pharmacy down the block”. My friend there with me asked to speak to a doctor and got no response from the lady at the desk. Worst experience of my life, if you work in healthcare you should have the slightest amount of sympathy. Because of this experience I spent over an hour in excruciating pain in the car to go to the hospital since I am not from the area. Whoever runs this place should re-evaluate the staff, more specifically the lady at the desk at 8am.

I am always treated well at cayuga medical urgent care in Cortland. I have personally never had a problem with the waiting that others have expressed. I call ahead knowing that this is a bad time during the health crisis to help insure the quality and speediness of my visit. Upon entering, I am asked to switch out my mask for a clean mask and and go to the desk for a series of questions. I wait 10 to 15 minutes and then placed in a room. My whole visit is under one hour and I'm sure it's documented somewhere. I rarely have to go to my primary doctor because the services I need can be readily given at this urgent care. Keep up the great work

The place looked clean but nobody took anyone's temperature ( during Covid) before we were told to wait in the waiting room. We were given a surgical mask that we had to wear; honestly, my homemade mask with a filter and my own surgical mask underneath was better. I saw employees wearing ill-fitted surgical masks. I felt my entire time there ( and it was considerable time) was useless. The nurse took vitals including temperature. When the "practitioner" ( she didn't say she was a doctor) came in I had to repeat why I was there although I had just told the nurse and it was all written down. My neck hurt and I could feel a lump up close to my chin, which was starting to hurt when I swallowed. She immediately asked me about any thyroid problems ( I said the thyroid is lower but I take meds for my thyroid) and asked me about cancer! She said she couldn't feel the lump and said I would have to follow up with my regular doctor. While waiting for my paperwork, I asked that someone at least look in my throat! The visit accomplished absolutely nothing and will probably cost my insurance plenty.

I don't know for sure, but I think so. They send it to a la to get tested though. So you won't get the results right away.
