Have gone to Owera many times but tonight was absolutely the worst. A beautiful Thursday night, should have figured out why the parking lot was empty when we arrived at 6:00 that things had changed. 50% of the menu was not available and even the pizza that we settled on was missing ingredients. It’s too bad for they have spent so much on the beautiful decor and surrounding. The wine is always very good. Maybe they should just have food trucks and a bar! Just a thought.

I don't often write negative reviews but had a bad experience here. My wife and I drove 45 minutes to get here after a long week of work on our organic farm. The woman who seated us was very nice, but then we sat there with our menus for 30 minutes as the waiter served the two tables on either side of us without checking in at all with us. I could understand if it was really busy or if we were seated out of view to be unintentionally neglected, but we were right in the middle and it wasn't busy at all. We left wondering if we were being judged for wearing jeans or driving up in an old Hyundai or if there was another reason we weren't being served. It's not a place we felt welcome or would visit again.

Beautiful, hidden gem, winery in upstate NY. Mario, our bartender/wine server, was so funny and welcoming. Tried a flight of wines (and then some compliments of Mario) for $12 pp. Came home with 5 bottles of their dry riesling and Owahgena red. Prices were very good for the quality of wine. Also was talked into buying a bottle of port which supposedly tastes very yummy over ice cream. This will definitely be a good to spot for when we're in the area.

Pros: wine fight option Beautiful scenario & patio Indoor has a nice vibe Cons: It smells absolutely disgusting inside.. like cat pee! All I could smell was the strong odor The service is ok The wines are absolutely terrible. I like almost all wines & I could not finish my tastings The food is somewhat bland and very expensive. For expensive meals, I’d like it to be delicious I would not come here again.
