I am very excited about Arcimoto and the FUV. However, despite Arcimoto going public with stock options and bringing in millions of dollars to invest in their product they can't seem to hire anyone to answer phone calls or return emails. That does not seem like a very sustainable business model. :( Update: I have owned a FUV for a year now and it is great! I have contacted the support group a couple of times and they have responded promptly. 5 stars for the FUV and support.

We rented a vehicle for the afternoon. We had a gorgeous afternoon using backroads to Silvan Ridge. We had so much fun! It was affordable to rent, pretty comfortable and the Arcimoto staff was really knowledgeable and helpful.

Most people in their four wheeled cars are driving by themselves so why lug around a couple extra thousand pounds and four to six seats for one person when you can drive this two seater with three wheels. You save the weigh, space, fuel expenses, parking. Cost ($ 12K-20K) with temporary $7500 rebate-so with rebate the cost is $4500-$12500. At this top price: Electric Car Owners and Drivers are asking "What about increasing the range?" The Mass Public wants an affordable electric vehicle with the largest range possible. Any other features should be second to the range. Range means utility. Range means adoption of a new technology. People can't drive your electric vehicles and will never adopt this new technology because the range is so abysmal. 102.5 miles range in real world probably means 70 miles of range or less as the battery declines in efficiency the first few years, fast acceleration eats battery such as high speeds, plus EPA doesn't test battery range with lights and any other electronics if it's like electric cars. 100 miles of range is not enough because people don't want to be stuck wasting their day charging their vehicle when they have second jobs, school or college, and errands to run. People are on the go and lots of people deliver for uber eats and other App jobs are on the go all the time with two jobs. If it is sluggish that is okay, would you prefer an arcimoto with 70 miles of real world range and is FUN to drive or an arcimoto with 200 miles of range that might do 0-60 mph in 12 seconds. I'll take the 200 mile range with 0-60mph in 12 seconds and you can still sell the fun one to people with money with less range. I have followed other companies and own an electric car. INCREASE THE RANGE! Drop the weight. Stop wasting time with the gimmick safety features, drop the heated seats, you are in a three wheeled electric motorcycle so chances are not good versus a car, truck, or semi. Stop trying to be a car and be a three wheeled motorcycle as it should be bare bones, three wheels on the road with the longest range possible and covered passenger compartment for two option or bare skeleton. People can't afford a second vehicle let alone barely afford one vehicle so make a utility vehicle and Arcimoto has the best chance to do this. Lastly, every electric car owner and driver knows that the EPA listed and documented ranges are over estimates but the real world range is always much lower than actual electric range by 10% to 30% inflated real world driving range. Companies that deliver with your arcimoto would care more about range, and the drivers that are delivering won't care. Create a simple utility design with common parts with a good range and watch the world adopt your platform. Or become another start up that struggles and eventually fails. You don't have Air Conditioning so why do you have heated seats, complete waste even if the cost is negligible it isn’t worth the engineering time right now. Create the Mad max mobile of three wheeled electric motorcycles for two with one goal of range and a little bit of storage and option to cover the cab or be a skeleton. Drop everything else. The Bluetooth doesn't make sense we can order a helmet that does that. You won't be able to hear anyway, ever heard of road noise. You are not a car manufacturer you are a three wheeled motorcycle manufacturer for electric three wheeled motorcycles and not a Bluetooth machine, don't waste time and money on that. Motorcycles aren't safer than cars you can be as safe as any other three wheeled motorcycle. Range is the biggest factor that will put you on the map. The immediate acceleration of electric vehicles seems faster than it is and is fun enough. The bare bone vehicle with the maximum range is what will establish this company in the market as a serious player because this is the vehicle that people need. Arcimoto is more than just a company, they represent a movement in electric vehicles. Their FUV is an amazing product from Eugene Oregon. I am proud to work with Arcimoto and have been fortune enough to meet some of their core team. Good luck with all of the success you deserve!

Probably not. Way too fast. You could maybe order one for a tuned-down spec with speed limiter just for golf course driving.

The last I heard is they plan to sell online. There's a waiting list of over 2k. I reserved one in dec 2017. But they are still working on optimizing the assembly line. So I'm expecting mine to be ready next spring.
