Nice big campsites with plenty of water spigots and bathrooms. Very clean and well-kept. Firewood and ice were reasonably priced. Friendly staff. However, these was lots of noise from vehicles on the nearby roads. This is not the fault of the campground, just something of which to be aware.

Beautiful park but not maintained as well as it could be. The cliff has a sheer drop off but it is safe.

Awesome hike! 6 miles total loop included south and north trail. About animals, we met grass snake, bunch of cute chipmunks and squirrels. Everywhere you can see warrants of bears. We didn’t meet them. Wonderful views although a bit obstructing by leaves and trees around. It’s not easy hike for beginners so it was nice, comfortable and a lot of fun.

Best part about the hike was the shade. Roots of all sizes all long the way will definitely ruin someone's day with a bumb ankle. The park warns you about drops, which is good. They should also warn about trips n slips. No good view of the water.

Yes but just remember you have to take your trash out with you there is no dump there
Not at Whetstone proper, but there is a reservoir that you could kayak. The reservoir is not within the state park.
Hiking is always open. Please no one starting trails after 3pm.
You can bring firewood. Also there is a home about 500' down West road from park entrance with camp wood for sale.
Vehicle day pass $7 after 4pm $5
