No fun zone in the water. Told 3 different things about a raft a person in my party brought, asked several times, tried to get it in the water and someone came and told us no because it was too busy. It wasn't busy. Beyond that, it was a nice picnic area with grills under the shade of trees.

Definitely a great place to go!! The park is huge, although the slides get so so sooo hot that it’ll leave burns on your legs and butt, so, I do not recommend taking your kids down the slides. Other than that, it’s gorgeous to walk the beach and swim in! You can also camp out if you’d like and their bathrooms are clean which I love. Definitely recommend!

Great little campground! Sites are large, but we had a huge problem with people cutting through our site because they were too lazy to walk around. Restrooms are cleaned daily and in a central location. Beach is easy to get to and many picnic tables and grills available. Great playground and the swimming area is shallow so its great for all ages, especially young kids. Bathhouses were well maintained and had decent pressure and heat. Campfire rules were loosely enforced, but wasn't really a problem because the wood they were selling was so moist all it did was smolder. But 2nd day we went and found some locally and were able to have a pretty decent one that night.

Nice location and 30A service. There are signs saying no parking on the grass and if you do there is a man who will come yell at you within a minute. (Saw it twice.) Part of the reason people want to park on the grass is because they have a rule of 2 registered vehicles per site, and the camper you pull counts as one. The parking lot is about 100 yards away, but you have to walk around others' sites to get to it. The grass was long and unmowed. Last time they did mow it was evident that they didn't move the picnic table because the grass was even longer under it.

Joshua is correct. I live on Muskrat Bay area and the fishing access is where the did can swim.
There is a nice beach, should be good
What about a boat trailer? Can you leave the overnight if not camping?
No, lifeguards are gone for the season
It is the price of one car. $7. Look for discount on NYS parks.
The fee is eight dollars to get in with your vehicle and if you are a senior citizen you get a discount. And everything is open till 8pm. Nice place to go and there is a boat fee but the prices are all very reasonable. Remember too bring your bug spray because me and my hubby always bring it. But the nature there is absolutely beautiful. It's worth it.
