Somehow always knew this place will be the one I’ll go first looking for a kitty 😃 Finally I was pleased to meet and get a small little happiness for myself and my girlfriend! Kitty was adopted! Documents were easy to sign, stuff was super helpful-the whole store looks clean and well organised (my complement to the manager). We did buy everything right there without even opening Amazon. Kitty did get new home 🏡 We did get very happy ! Thank you PetSmart!

Have bought many animals here, (Mainly mice) And after about 4-5 mice and 2 guinea pigs i decided to look elsewhere. These animals were mean. And at no fault of my own either, I had proper cage size (50 L, 30 W, 20 T) And didn’t handle them until about 24 hours after. I gently would allow them to sniff my hand but always my result would be biting or hissing. I assumed i was doing something wrong after 4-5 but after going to another petco/pet smart location the animals there were nice, well treated and outgoing. Not only are the animals here mean but they are mistreated and given only enough bedding to cover the surface. The bedding is dirty and all the hides are chewed to pieces. Other locations have much better options.

Update: Great food selection, great rewards, don’t sleep on the clearance. Avoid grooming. It doesn’t matter how positive or nice you try to be when you walk in there, they will tear it down with the abrasiveness and negative attitudes. If you have thick skin, it’s manageable, but be prepared with all of your pets most recent documents (no matter how much you’ve been there) and talk as little as possible. Our family recently moved back from Japan and we brought our boy Marsh in for a much needed nail trim. We were refused because his actual rabies certificate was written in Japanese and the expiration didn’t match with what the VTC in Japan put on their records. Just in case there was concern, we brought in 7 years of vaccine records showing consistent vaccination and we were still denied. I understand the company’s position, but had we neglected to vaccine our boy and he had been a risk to the staff, it would have been apparent. Perhaps empowering your staff to make decisions on a case-by-case basis, even if it may not be to our benefit, could have helped in this situation. I will say, kudos to Kris, he’s an amazing person and employee at that store. I wish I could have reviewed this better.

The store is big. There are hospital, training center, adoption center and more. The staff is nice
