As you read in other reviews we had a similar experience! Beautiful campground but the ruddedt most strict staff I’ve ever seen! The 9 pm check-in rule is very strict and there is an old guy who’s a ranger and his job is to harass people. Every night he drives around with his truck to shush people for quiet hours and he’s very rude! Never have I ever in my life experienced such strict campground rules with such rude staff. Will never come back here again. Oh also, if you’re bringing your dog, they don’t just accept the Rabis collor tag… we had to drive back to town to get service somewhere so we can get the vet docs from our email. And guese what? The lady rudely said if we don’t make it back in time for check-in we will have to find a place in town to sleep! Screw these rude miserable people!

Pretty big campground ,only one hour from queens. Bathrooms are big and okay clean.(I think because I went there on the weekends) its not quiet nor relaxing camp ground but if you go with family then it should be okay. There is beach near the camp ground. No swimming . The views are amazing. They dont have fire ring so you need to bring your own.

My boyfriend and fur baby camped here over the weekend 5/20-5/22 on site #49 (at the loop next to the road) near the trail head. We arrived around 8:30PM and was greeted by friendly campground workers at the check-in building. Make sure to arrive BEFORE 9PM!! FYI: There is no cell reception in this area. And I HIGHLY recommend Pre-Registering online before you arrive and have your pet paperwork ready for a fast and smooth check-in. Also, camp does not sell wood. We had to pick up from a lady selling at her house across from the campground. She sold it for $10 (CASH ONLY). The campsites were close to each other, but we still enjoyed our alone time. You may get hikers/backpackers walking by to the trailhead in the mornings, but they were very respectful and quiet. Beware - There were a lot of flies and bugs. I recommend lots of bug spray or a mosquito net. Lastly, the restrooms and hot showers were a huge plus especially in warmer weather. I would definitely come back again, but in cooler months. Recommended Places: Boiceville Supermarket (15-20 mins away) Phoenicia Diner (10 mins)

We really enjoyed our weekend trip to Woodland Valley Campground. Although most of sites are small and close to road our stay on site #25 was great! Right next to the stream running through campground, close to bathrooms and garbage disposal. Secluded from rest of sites. Close to great hiking!

Yes, it's a campground so it's opened all the time
Walk in also there are a few spots reserved for people who just come. Save $9.00 on reservation fee.park at your campsite.
I would reccommend buying a compressor from a camping store you will need it for other future camping trips🤙🏾😎
I was there over the summer and for the most part I had no signal, which is great. Isn't the whole point of camping to get away from it all, and unplug?
