I didn't go on the walking trails but the outlook was beautiful I would have given it a 5 but a lot of the trees have grown up and have blocked some of the view. I do think that I would have gotten a better view if I went on the trail that was on the other side of the road which was at least 30 feet higher. I do plan on doing that the next ewe go and I have more time. The trail looked really cool and went over the road a little ways down. So pretty, I highly recommend it!

Good for a brief stop, with panoramic valley views, and chance to look up at the rock climbers on the cliffs across the roadway. Limited parking at the site proper. Hikers and climbers park all along the far-from-level road.

Ideal vantage point for overlooking the Shawawagunk Mountain. Well-maintained parking area for about ten cars, and benches for seating. There is a trailway extending downwards from the overlook, but it is dangerously steep. Careful on the approach to this overlook as the roads are very narrow with tight curves.
