We RV camp with three small kids. This location was wonderful. Our older children could roam free (they swim unaccompanied) with us nearby in the water park area and we stayed with our little guy. The water park area is entirely fenced in with only one entrance/exit, which gives peace of mind. Enough things for bigger kids and little kids to do to keep them entertained. We went on one of the hottest weekends in recent years and the water park was ideal! The staff was overall very friendly. It’s definitely limited staff contact unless necessary, which we don’t mind. I loved having the tiki bar to get a beer right near the water park without having to go back to the camper. Garbage was picked up promptly and periodically throughout the day if we put it out. We already have booked for our trip next year! I’d definitely recommend this location.

This is our second time here, I’ve never felt so at ease just letting the kids run around freely at any place I’ve traveled to like I do here. I recommend buying the fun pass, there are a ton of daily activities for the kids to do including arts and crafts. The water park within the grounds allows for interaction between children and adults allowing for friendships to be made, the lifeguards by the pools, lazy river and water park are the most aware I’ve seen! The service is all around spectacular from start to finish. If you don’t mind not having to totally disconnect and not having wifi or service (we didn’t) Book your trip and GO! You won’t regret it!

I should first disclose that I have been here twice before and had great experiences. In 2022 it seems like this site has grown beyond its capabilities. For $325 to sleep on the ground for two nights you’d expect the amenities to really shine, but unfortunately that was not my family’s experience. Pros: Clean bathrooms Good ice cream Store is convenient for those who have forgotten items at home Cons: Pool does not open until 10 am Splash pad did not open until 11:45 (most families are here for one full day and 11:45 is quite late considering as such) Pool food- we waited an hour for 3 sandwiches ( there’s no hand buzzers or system in place so you have to physically wait at the stand) Crowds- there is a small pool area and it was hard to move around the pool deck let alone get a chair. We arrived early to get a table - but of course had to wait an hour and 45 for the splash pad which is why we came. Also, the lazy River is laughably small Arcade- 4 games took our money.Conveniently there’s a sign that claims no responsibility in such occurrences Security- our tent neighbors got into a full blown screaming match over music our last night. It was scary and loud and concerning for our family as it got physical. Where was the staff? The sites themselves are small and cramped Laser tag was cancelled after being advertised on the schedule My overall impression is that Lazy River , Gardiner, NY raised prices and increased their occupancy but didn’t improve or grow their staff or amenities. What is left is a young and overwhelmed staff that can’t support the enormous crowds this site hosts. Be prepared for no privacy, huge waits, large crowds, drunk White Claw moms arguing, and an experience that feels more like camping in a strip mall parking lot than getting in touch with nature.

Beautiful park with loads of amenities. The location is ideal for doing a day trip into the city but honestly we didn’t want to leave the park. The river views are prime spots if you bring your own camper however we stayed in the cabins which are the best I’ve stayed in. Clean, spacious and everything we needed for our trip! The pools and lazy river were the perfect way to cool off after doing a round of mini golf. We brought our dog and it loved sniffing for turtles along the bank. The food was great too which is a perk after lots of swimming! They have a lot of kid activities as well. We rented a golf cart which was a fun way to get around the park! Highly recommend.

Yea lots of road for them to ride some flat some with hills. Bring helmets. Speed limit for cars are 5 mph and it seems that most were very respectable about that. But there is so much to do if u want to skip the bikes.
