We did a cabin rental at Rondout. There are many full season campers and permanent sites. The staff was friendly and always out and about. They have a snack shack, but it could pass for a full service restaurant. They have everything from candy to ice cream, to fried foods to salads. The pool was a main attraction and was kept. Not to be missed- take a walk down the bike trail. It leads to a creak you can wade in as well as beautiful views.

If you like racist flags, this place is for you! Besides the rampant racism on display, you can also enjoy the constant propositions from the correctional officers living permanently across the street that would like to "have my wife scissor your wife!" and such. The cabin was nicer than expected, but the water does smell of sulfer and did not get hot.

Beautiful park, quiet grounds, staff kept the facilities clean. I do not recommend this park for anyone with kids. The staff will talk to your kids about their behavior but when you are standing in front of them, they will just speak to the kids and not the adults. I found this part of the park very concerning and will be steering clear of this camp ground from now on.

Only thing good about this campground is that it was open mid April. Wanted to get on the road early and was good for that only. Probably should have found a cracker barrel instead. Full of full timers who looked at you like you were invading their backyard. Had no heat in the bathroom so not easy taking a shower. Had some guy with tinted windows who kept driving through with the obligatory thumping stereo. Most likely the campground drug dealer. Real special! Especially after midnight.

Just cabins to rent but you can ask because they have 3 privately owned cabins...
It is open! A reservation is necessary! Nice place!
We were there last week and did not notice a fizzy taste to the water. However, we use a Berky which may have eliminated anything that would cause this. I will mention that freinds did laundry and noticed the clothes smelled "terrible" after they were washed.
No, they don't rent any. Seems like some people have their own though.
In the past you could but I believe policy changed
Yes there is a slot in the gate keepers door
You can stay in one place and pay monthly, we had our camper there july-october.
It all depends on the dates your looking to stay. Feel free to call.
