Stopped here with my mom after hiking at Sam's Point. The outdoor seating area is really nice, and if you're lucky they'll have live music! Food was really good, and not too expensive.

Moved to the area a month ago and this place ha s been my savior. The atmosphere created by Linda, Al and staff make you feel like family. Even through these difficult times theirs constituency and it’s always top notch service and food. The food!! It’s all about the food and I’ve had to many awesome meals to list. Must go if you’re in the area or looking for a road trip as it’s in the most beautiful area.

This place has great food and cocktails and it's especially fun to eat in their outdoor area up the hill. The bolognese entree had perfectly cooked pasta with spicy Italian sausage and a solidly-spice ragù. I also had their seasonal pumpkin cocktail and roasted brusselsprouts, both of which were delicious. However, someone else got the fried chicken sandwich, which wasn't as impressive. It had only a thin piece of chicken and the breading wasn't too impressive. Nonetheless, I'd definitely come back here again.

Excellent food & consistently good service. Stone house tavern offers the best original dishes & a great atmosphere indoors and out. Embodies the best of the best of dining out experience in the Hudson valley. Casual dining attire is welcome but classy attire given a special occasion to dine out is normal here. Six stars would rate higher if I could.
