It's a very nice quiet place to camp but if you want cell service or want to watch TV then don't camp here unless you have your own! Bathroom/shower house has been the cleanest ones we've been to on this journey. Staff is nice as well! Theres a few baby gators in the pond up front at the docks too. Big catfish as well!🐊🐟 🦎 🌺 A very beautiful park! 😍

It was a great State Park. Huge campsites on gravel. Small campground with lots of trails to explore. Kayaking, biking etc. I highly recommend. Its only 15 min.from ny house so it's nice and close. The only bad point is very poor cell phone service.

Stayed here for a night in one of the RV/Vehicle spots. Absolutely wonderful, well maintained campsites and spotless facilities. All campers were very respectful of each other. The staff were all extremely professional and were well informed on upcoming events at the park. Plenty of deer and other wildlife. Will absolutely be going back again.

Quiet small park with plenty of walking trails, open plains, scrubland, and a good number of lakes. If you're quiet and patient, you'll get the chance to see alligators, hawks, ibises, ducks, fish, turtles, tortoises, and even snakes. The park offers a variety of classes including fishing, kayaking, trail walks, and even a few times per year, stargazing. Definitely a place to bring your family or go solo to just relax.

they have RV spots you can stay on they have campsites you can stay on. But you have to camp out in designated areas. It is not allowed to camp out on the trails. They have campsites with electricity and they have campsites without electricity. Take your pick. But you do have to call ahead to make reservations. Be very careful there's a lot of snakes and quite a few alligators. Good luck be careful. Keep your eyes open.
365 days a year, so yes
It's the standard State Park fee. If it's a family, it will be $6 per car -- six is the limit if I recall. It is $4 if it's you and your pet in the car -- that is what I used to pay. I get the annual pass now and can go to as many State Parks I can get to in a day! There are a few exceptions! We have a plott hound and she loves the different smells on the trails. Have fun!
It’s open! Staying here this week! It’s beautiful!
14 day's we happen to get reservations for only 2 days but will be back in 3 months for 14. Love this place so peaceful!

No wifi! You don't need it when you're out there... It's a beautiful park!
All sites have water and electric. The handicap sites also have sewage hook ups.
Freshwater bank fishing is available at three different lakes in the park and a fishing dock is at the Mac Lake day use area!
Andrea when you know for sure let me know i would love to take mine up there also. Ty
Go to Richloam WMA up the road
Camping open the Feb 26 , I went by yesterday was full. Go to Reserve American find Colt Creek look at the campground map find your spot then look it up and see if it's Reserve you can also put the date then how many days you want to stay then tap a bill ability it will tell you if it's available you can also just scroll through and just look and see which sides have no reserve on it
I get nothing with t mobile :(
Mostly sunny, a couple of the tent sites are shady.
Hello me and my wife go to coal Creek a few times a year in our RV on the RV sites you can have a couple of tents and your RV I have a class a and they have the primitive section where it's just camping tents only hope that helps it's a beautiful Park we're going there in 2 weeks have a blessed day
You are limited to 14 consecutive days at any Florida State Park.
Yes, there is about 2 miles from the entrance to the end of the main park road. You can stop at the lake, there is parking there and you can walk a short trail that is very shady as well as walk around the lake, or just enjoy the beauty of the lake from the parking lot.
Yes and it is one of the states best! Also, 15 miles of the best kept multi-use trails around.
No
There's about 15 miles of trails for biking. They are grass trails and can get a little muddy after rain, but there's also gravel and paved paths to bike on.
Not really. There are campsites for RVs and special sights for tents, equestrian and youth groups. Everyone else must leave the park at closing. The property is well monitored by state workers. Oddly enough where the road connects to Rt. 98 (3 miles away) has gravel on the side where many trucks and a few RVs stay the night.
Google it and then call the restaurant we stay Cold Creek as often as we can we love it we just go to Publix and cook our own food but there are places to eat I just don't know unless your dog is a service dog just a regular dog I don't think would be allowed in anywhere
Unfortunately no And there aren't too many places around there where you can buy it either so I would suggest bringing it from home
Check the website for the latest information.
The only one with full hookups are the handicap sites.
You can fish from bank at your own risk. Water moccasins are very prevalent around the pond. The dock is a very nice area to fish. Lots of space! Enjoy!
There are for picnic tables in each pavilion
They have a campground type thing... then they have 1 and 2 mile walk up camp sites
I've witnessed children bringing back buckets with fish, so yes there are fish to be caught.
Small ramp. Boats with trolling motors only
No
When I was there a few months back there was wood for sale at the front entry gate and more for sale at the camping area (camp host site).
I go fishing with my grandson there. We have a great Fishn n talking.
Yeah but there are alligator's and they might still be in maintenance
