We are looking to purchase a home in Pasco and we noticed a large amount of homes for sale don’t have permits for different thing here and there. I called to get information and after being transferred a couple times the woman I spoke with gave me a lot of information on what to do and who to call with what information that is needed. She was amazing and easily explain the information needed.

Spoke to a permit tech today by phone. I am a licensed electrician trying to get a simple answer to a simple question about if I could walk a basic permit through with COVID. Mind you the other two of the three Pasco building offices are open to the public. Give me a break. This person was condescending and rude and did everything to not give me basic information. When I repeated her answers, she even said, "I never said that." Which she later recanted. No apology for the tone or attitude though. I was very clear in my questions because I have had very negative experiences in the recent past with them. Had I not bothered her with follow up questions and asked her to explain her answers completely, I would have had the wrong or I swear intentional miss information. Many there do not serve the public, you are a bother to them and they have no problem making sure you know it.

Horrible Horrible Horrible, we have submitted a permit nearly 2 months ago and it's still just sitting there. Everyone is ready to go, we are just waiting on someone to look at a piece of paper! The entire project could have been done by now! Thanks for taking the money and doing nothing! We’ve now had our final inspection, our pool leaks, things are bent and crooked and and things are broken and they don’t even care. This is just a money grab. They could care less about service provided or if the company is even abiding by the signed permit.

With my work, I deal with multiple different permitting offices in different cities and counties... with Pasco County I always get ahold of someone, rather than begin on hold for hours (not kidding), and even if they make a mistake they reached out to me and apologize for the delay or whatever happened. Hard working people jus trying to keep up with being crazy busy.

Yes you do need a permit to reshingle a mobile home
Ask your contractor..ONCE. Don't keep bugging them. Everytime they stop and answer your questions it delays EVERYONE'S permits. If you are doing permit as homeowner, same applies calling county. Building departments are taking longer than expected.
Yes
I cannot help you there I'm not sure of the answer
Try calling and asking for Fred Humberstone
If you need to add new plumbing lines to your bathroom to accommodate a new sink or move an existing one to another spot in the bathroom, you'll need a permit. Any project that drastically changes the footprint of the bathroom will likely require a permit
Yes, you need a permit for any type of shed, even a Rubbermaid tool shed.
Yes, you can file for extensions as necessary.
Not for the public.
If they don't find out or the inspector doesn't say anything, that's the new owners problem
Code enforcement
I apologize, I'm not sure, but here is the permitting office number 7278478126
Not sure, but you can always call the building department 7278478126
No. Not unless you're changing layout, relocating a wall, electric or plumbing
Call code enforcement
No permit needed. Queens and Washingtonian are excluded from needing permits in pasco county. Now if you live in city proper of port richey or new port richey that may change
Hope that helps
Yes you need to have a fill permit.
Anything that is structural will require permit. I would call just to confirm. Central permitting is your best bet. Good luck
Yes
Yes. You will want to call the Building Department to get details depending on the roof type and other variables..
Yes
SOL means Statue Of Limitations. When you see a permit with that status it is the same as expired.
A reroof is a repair or replacement of an existing roof I believe.
No unless you live in an RV trailer park
Most likely a neighbor is concerned about their personal property value and Made complaint.
