Unfortunately I did not have a great experience with this company. I was referred by a friend and I was told to email a lady named Kayla. Two weeks passed and I never got a response- later I ended up talking two different people from different departments. The day I had an interview I had to get emergency labs from my doctor for A chronic illness I battle with. I called that morning to leave a voicemail to reschedule. Kayla calls me that afternoon- I alerted her that I’m at the doctors office and I was rushed off the phone so then I tried to call Emily to reschedule and the receptionist put me on hold and Kayla picks up the phone. From that point on the conversation seem disingenuous sarcastic and I asked her if it was possible if I could reschedule and I was cut off and she said well I’m booked this week and for the future let us know when something comes up then she ended the call by saying “and good luck with your doctors appointment”- in a sarcastic tone. Honestly I was very hurt by those words because my illness is severe and the complications could be life threatening and it was very insensitive. If that is the culture and behavior of this company then it was probably in my best interest not to work for them. This was a wake up call for me to focus solely on my health and wellness.

I'd moved from NY to LA in September 2019, and for five weeks I pounded the pavement to find work. Unfortunately, I wasn't getting any leads, so I turned to Robert Half. Emily and I had a Skype interview, in which we talked about my resume and skill sets. Within one week, I went from not having a job to starting my first assignment! She was a dream to work with, and her team working with us was very supportive. The only reason I am rating it 4/5 stars is because of the commute. I asked for a commute under 10 miles (since I don't currently have a car), and I was placed somewhere 13 miles away. Thankfully, two rapid transit buses could get me there safely, but the commutes were about 1.5 - 2 hours each way. Despite this small setback, I have loved working with them and will happily accept another assignment there in the future.
