Next Level is a great place for hobbyists to gather and enjoy themselves. Henry is an awesome owner and if you have any interest in either competitive card games or fighting games, this is the place for you.

I took my son there and he had a blast. The atmosphere brought me back to the old days of arcade. My son wants to come back. They have a large selection of cards. If the don't have it you don't need it.

Just seen the documentary on Amazon, I grew up in the Arcade in the 90’s. Great story of change in the arcade game industry. COVID has closed the DB and we have nowhere to go, had to by a portable AG machine to play the classics. Hope to visit NY again and stop there. Greetings from California.

They have a great amount of fighting games on their ps4s so don't worry about that. For controllers, you're allowed to BYOC. If you're missing one, they have sticks and pads they allow you borrow. And in terms of bringing your own ps4, I don't think it would be a problem, but it might be pushed down during busy hours.
Next Level is a diverse place, ranging from teens to people in their mid-thirties, to men, women, children, and people of all races and colors. I don't think there's anything stopping your son from competing. It's a very open community, so there's people he can learn from as well.
Yes they do casual. But just gotta hope someone is there to play casuals with
They're not all streamed.
Yea
Yes they do
Yeah I believe you do need to pay to be on the machines. And people usually start playing at around 5-6pm but yeah people have begun playing again as far as I can tell
The Games are not free, you must pay a fee to enter. Just as Uriel said, those are the conditions but thanks to the covid, video gaming is restricted until further notice. As for Card games, depending on what game you are playing there are different days in which the tournament will occur. You must contact the store manager to find the days that they are having these tournaments and see if they are even happening. I know that Vanguard is 5$ on thursday or Saturday if I'm not mistaken. Magic is on fridays as normal, Dragon Ball Super is on Mondays along with Pokemon, and Yugioh...well I don't know. You might want to contact the store to verify these dates. Are you interested in getting into any of these games?
