Me & my wife’s go to Mexican restaurant in UES. We’ve tried most of the main menus and it’s hella delicious and not pricey. Besides food, overall service was great but the employee who served us asked for more tips even we did good amount of tip (18% - 20)

This has to be the worst calexico experience I’ve ever had. First time going to this location. I ordered the Cali burrito bowl and what a mess. It looked like they just threw in everything and didn’t care. It’s took 20mins to get a bowl. Service was slow and terrible. Granted they were busy but that’s not an excuse cause for the slop I was given. I paid 16$ for some broken fries, beans, little dry pieces of beef with no seasoning. I’m so upset and disappointed. Definitely not worth the money.

Food: 1/5 Service: 1/5 Atmosphere: 4/5 If you’re into dating hot people that treat you poorly, eat dinner at calexico. Seriously disappointing and overpriced for the low quality of food. The $10 cheese dip is cheezwhiz with peppers and onions.

The food was tasty, the service was good and quick. We ordered nachos, chile cilantro fries and jalapeno poppers. We loved the fries. If you plan to dine inside the restaurant then please make sure you have vaccination proof and ID card. I would say appropriate COVID safety measures are considered.
