Friendly, lots of space inside and outside incl. parking. Teen recreational center, good air conditioning, hospitality (water, pizza) fellowship and worship. A very large church I might add. Not my home church but enjoy other activities here.

I hadn't been to church in over 15yrs when I found Cottonwood a couple months ago. From the 1st service to now I have felt at home and received a message I needed to hear every time. The choir at the beginning of each service is so powerful and you can tell the Spirit of God is in this church. Their childrens programs are so great and allow me to go to church while my daughter is in fellowship with other children. I am beyond grateful to have found Cottonwood and would highly suggest you come for a visit and see for yourself!

If you never feel calling a church home come to cottonwood and you will feel it. Hard to explain but easy to feel it. God is amazing!🙏🏻

Awesome church all the wsy around really big well funded but its small group makes you feel right at home . They have a wonderful kid ministry in its own building a youth building and Everyone there makes you feel welcomed . Also have a golf cart to take u from parking to sanctuary .

I'm not sure if the church will be known as Cottonwood as well. Maybe likely. However, the pastors that are being sent forth are not the Favelas. I think I remember Pastor Harrison saying they were the youth church pastors....
Masks are not required now; no social distancing, but there is wonderful outside seating on the plaza with social distancing. No physical interaction required; some folks shake hands and some don't. Cottonwood is a cool vibe, so you'll be comfortable with whatever you choose. I'm extra paranoid and I'm perfectly comfortable sitting outside, even without a mask because I'm only sitting near my family. And I'll probably never shake another hand again. Ha!

No Thanksgiving specific service, but there will be All Church Prayer on Sat. 27 at 10Am in Instagram Live, I'm sure there will be some extra thanks giving going on 😄. There's also regular Sunday services on the 28th 9AM + 11AM, and First Wednesdays coming up on Dec. 1st 6:30Pm
No Saturday night ,service is in English , & services are on Sunday 9& 11 at the present , I look forward to Saturday night services, hopefully soon

Every Friday Pizza connection is 6-7pm. Big group CR starts at 7pm. Small groups is 8-9pm Coffee connection is from 9pm till about clean up time, around 930pm ish.

@Ron Salazar- Well, unlike Cottonwood Church themselves, I'm not (1) uber wealthy and (2) lack the expansive open property that such a building would require. However, in asking COTTONWOOD (not you) this very valid question, I AM proposing the project to them.

We don't have adult Sunday School cleasses. However, I suggest to check "Small Groups", which I belive is great. You can choose a small group related to the area of your life you want to grow on. @Joan Montana unlike what you might think I am not staff at the church. I am a volunteer who happens to serve in a lot of ministries, which gives me some connections to people that may know, but I don't know all the answers myself. I know nothing beyond what the staff tell me.
Yes, it is the new community outreach. Cottonwood is in Los Alamitos & part of our desire to reach others for God is the Long Beach service on Sundays. Look up Cottonwood .org. It is a great group of people with a desire to let others know of God's love.
Starts at 6pm on Saturday nights. Also have Sunday mornings at 8:45 and 11:00 and 6:00 pm Sunday Night. Wednesdays are at 7pm.

Yes 6 praise and worship and I beautiful time at that. I attend my own church but often enjoy visiting the Cottonwood Sunday service.

There is no service in Spanish on Sunday. There is only a Spanish Service on Saturdays at 6 p.m., building B. There might be changes in the future, since there are plans for constructing a new building.
I've seen first hand homeless individuals attend the chruch. The church may even be able to assist in finding shelter or permanent housing. As for the suitcase or bag you may be asked to store it outside the sanctuary for safety reasons.
