The camp grounds itself, is about average! It would be better if the spaces themselves were further apart, so it wouldn't feel like you were right on top of one another. Plus you would have more privacy. But the place itself isn't very big, so it's understandable why the spaces are the way they are. The boat launch is functional. It's just to bad that the lake itself is so nasty. I thought the two or three years they spent dredging it was supposed to help clean it up, but as far as I can tell it hasn't made a bit of difference. But if you're just looking for a place to camp for a day or two or launch your boat it's not a bad little spot.

Nice quiet campground close to home, perfect for last min weekend get aways. Water and eletric hook ups about as cheap as it get, water to fish in, plenty of food close buy and Walmart right down the road, place dosnt have alot going on for young kids but older ones will probably enjoy it, nice and clean and decent most have grass some tend to be muddy, but the sites are decent sized and very cheap

We are happy with the location and price. Restrooms are kept clean and staff are very nice and helpful. Only downfall is there is no swimming due to blue/green algae. Other than that our family loves it here and would recommend to family and friends

We recently stayed at these campgrounds. We were very happy with the location, setup and price. The staff patrolled regularly to make sure no one was getting out of hand. As this was our first time, they stopped by a few times to see how we were getting along. We would definitely stay again. The only reason I don't give them five stars is they should have another bathroom or two.
