My husband and I love the Black Lantern! The food is delicious, locally sourced and cooked from scratch. We love the cozy atmosphere and the friendly service. The prices are incredibly reasonable for the outstanding quality of the food.

We loved that our room had a fireplace and whirlpool tub! However, the wifi and tv did not work; I tried calling the main line but no one answered. There was a half eaten yogurt still in our mini fridge when we arrived. And on the morning of our check out, the toilet was not flushing! We had to fill up the tank using water from the sink! The bed is also extremely squeaky I wouldn’t stay here for more than one night.

The beds are SUPER comfortable and the continental breakfast was nice. I didn't interact with the staff too much, but when I did, they were super nice. My only drawback was the amount of cobb/ spider webs in my room. It made me feel like the room had never been cleaned.

Wow! We went to dinner here in August of 2020 and it was phenomenal. The flavors were well balanced, food was fresh and high quality, and the service was exceptional. We are originally from Boston (and my SO owned a food manufacturing company for 8 years), and this is one of the best meals we've had in the North East US. Can't go wrong.
