Rating 4.5 stars. We stayed at Iroquois Campground for 8 nights. This is a “campground” and not an RV Park or Resort. You park on grass/dirt and there are lots of campfires. The sites did have quite a few ant beds. We enjoyed our time here but as full timer RVers in a big rig we don’t really camp much. With that said if your looking for a campground with a pond and campfires, then this is your place. It was quite crowded on Memorial Day here. Every spot was filled with LOTS of people and cars parked everywhere. The owners at Iroquois are very nice and the park is very reasonably priced. We did ask if we could leave a day early due to bad weather expected on our planned travel day. They wouldn’t extend a one day refund. Although not unexpected, it is nice when some owners consider extenuating situations when providing refunds. We don’t like to travel during thunderstorms. Otherwise our stay was good. 50amp worked okay at 118v to 119v. Water pressure was very low. Sewer worked great and is threaded. WiFi worked okay.

This place is absolutely awesome. Just a few minutes from Plattsburgh, but this very reasonably priced woodsy campground makes you forget about the hustle and bustle of the big city. The owners, Tanya and Robin are gems. They obviously care about their guests and strive to accommodate their needs. The grounds are awesome, clean and very well maintained. With almost 200 sites, you will find all the amenities a traveling camper needs, large pull through sites that will accommodate the bigger rigs, with full hookups, 50 and 30 amps availability, laundry, shower, social activities and more. Great place for the road weary traveler or as a destination.

This is our second year being a seasonal camper here and it is great! The other seasonal campers are very friendly, helping and welcoming. They accepted us as if we had been camping there for the last ten years. There is a good size pond to fish in (Sunfish, Bass). A lot of areas to walk your dog without a lot of other people being around. There has recently been and ice cream truck coming through. There are horseshoe pits, a volleyball net and a playground. The new owners of the campground are very friendly and only have good things to say about them. The non-seasonal sites are a little close, but a lot of them are pull through, so it is easy to get your camper in and out of the site.

As seasonal campers, we store our RV on our site over the winter.
