We needed a healthcare facility that would admit our mom who had been tested positive to covid by Huntington hospital. West haven was one of very few that did. West Haven took care of our mom for three months. We were very pleased with how friendly, courteous and caring were all of the staff, especially the nursing team. I want to mention Kim in particular. I am sure their work environment gave them many reasons to be uptight. Nevertheless they served, answered questions and responded with a smile.

After a very upsetting situation in another hospital, we had to have our Mom transferred to West Haven. The whole staff, from admissions director Vanessa, Social Worker Mary, the caring psychiatrist (whos name escapes me), the director of Nursing, and the front desk receptionist were amazing. I want to give special kudos to Victor, my Moms nurse who was especially kind and patient dealing with my Mom. Rosa and the other nursing staff were also caring and kind. I was notified immediately of any changes with my Mom. They never made me feel like I was “bothering” anyone if I had a question. My Moms stay there was a very good experience.

Amazing customer service!!! I just spoke with Claudia L. And she was sooo helpful, informative and sweet about everything! I'm looking for a place for my mom to get the best care for her needs physically and mentally during this time of recovery and Claudia made me feel at ease and have more peace of mind with my mom's options for care . Definitely recommend !
