Cant remember the lady's name but she had insinuated right from the beginning that I was trying to manipulate the system because I was trying to increase my benefits. I'm young person on dialysis whose mother passed away and needs to contribute rent to my dad. She just assumed me and my dad were trying to scam the government and she looked like she was holding back a laugh. She doesn't know anything about us and jumps to the worst conclusion. Totally disrespectful and unprofessional

Requested an replacement SS Card thru their local office, was able to schedule an emergency appointment, staff and front desk security personnel were friendly and helpful. I am grateful of their assistance.

They simply don't do their job...and they are rude as "rattle-snakes." They don't get it, we pay their salary...we are their "boss." They don't care...only the coldest "humans" get hired to with-hold the legal and moral help our government is supposed to offer us. Fill out forms...they "get lost." Fill out more forms...they "get lost!" Take them in...they "get lost." Mail them registered mail...does no good...even with a receipt..."We don't know where they are...lost." Take them in...drop them in a box...no receipt! They refuse! Over and over and over turning into years of waiting...reflling papers to get my daughter (who is now blind) on Disability. In January 2018 I was determined to GET IT DONE...no more lying...stalling and trying to "cheat her out of what she is due!" So we went in to be told she has no open case...they can't find anything! I produced enough paperwork with names on it to "shake them up"...(if that's possible...there's no accountability so they don't care. If they don't like what you say...they have a huge armed guard they "sick against you.") I said this time I'm going to any and all places I can find...County...State...Federal to register a compliant! I am NOT going to start all over again! It's two inches of paperwork! What for anyway...you will only "loose" it again. I'm done! So...they later called to say they had submitted it and it was "at the State" level being processed. No further information! It's March 2018! We went in again as the paperwork I brought in in January wasn't included...since they had NO FILE! Now it went in without the three week hospital study at UCLA. They fouled-up so badly it's really hard to believe. They offered, "Well she gets paid (by law) back to the beginning of when you filed the claim." I asked what date they thought that was? January if 2018, when we just turned the paperwork in... was the answer. That's not right I said. "You can fight for it...fill out this form...after you get it it...if you get it." I asked why Mr. Ramirez who took all the papers in March of last year didn't turn them in then? (Always they get really rude at this point)...I don't know...I didn't do it...lets just move on...we're here now! But legally she is owed from when I have records of filling three years ago...I've been going through this "ROYAL RUN-AROUND" all this time for nothing. I'm done! "So, do you want me to help you or not?" is what comes back. Ultimate power! So I said, "Yes, I want you to help me...but you are NOT." I am going to proceed to get an attorney to fight you...and report your behaviour to all I can. THIS NEEDS TO STOP...NOW! You are hurting the most needy in our society. (I do not raise my voice and I most assuredly do not curse)...but she really did call the guard over when I refused to "take a seat in the waiting room." We left! America has changed so much over the past few years I don't recognize my own country. I was born here as were my Grandparents as far back as the 1600's...before it was America. I have no place to "go back home too." This is it for me...so I have to stay and fight the "wrongs" I see us slip into and this is a "big" one! (I am a member of the City of Los Angeles "Linkage Committee," tasked with resolving how best to spend the $1.58 Billion dollars allocated to this problem.) It causes homelessness to our most at-risk and in-need-of-help humans. If you don't believe this...just visit the homeless shelters and see the blind...leg-less...sick humans that fill them! It's government of...for...and by the people...only if we engage and use it! So...I'll carry on and take this information as high-up as I can get it...until WE fix it! It's incredibly broken. On my Worst-of-ALL Shame-On-You Government Offices List! P.S. Cruel never works! There is a God...and He sees all!

How do I apply for spousal benefits
Yes
This question is not about social security
When do the yearly appointment letters come out
Quiet place. Fast and good service. A lot of parking.
Call them although wait times might be longer than normal. You can also schedule some appointments online.
2130 N Garey Ave, Pomona, CA 91767
You can change your address via online or at the SS office brick and mortar building. You can call the social security office as well and change your address via a customer service rep.
I went in in-person dropped off an envelope with all my stuff in it & with a return address.
Don't think so. Too risky anyways
No...you have to call and get online video appointment
No, you need to have basically 4 years of work history and have a permanent residency or citizenship.
Their 888 number works.
It seems like it. I was there a week or so ago, and it was closed.
Not yet.
All you need to do is go in and give them your SSN
Be there early, an hour before they open to stand in line and you should be out of there quick. There's a long line but they go by numbers.
They will take her with out an appointment but it will be faster with in appt.
No! Don't STOP! MY Medicare.
You can apply online at socialsecurity.gov
Hi. That depends if it's your first time or just a replacement. It also depends on your immigration situation. If you are a citizen no more your identification. Permanent resident or permisso of work carry your i551 or i766. If it is the first time, also bring birth certificate or passport of your country. Finally no appointments are made. Arrive no more.
We are contemplating moving, can I please have a copy of the 2020 'Medicare & You' booklet for the Indianapolis, IN area sent to me at: 1730 Chattanooga Court, Claremont, CA 91711? Thank you.
Are you guys have Spanish speaker's??
Walk in. Check in. Fill out the form while you wait. For sure an ID or a driver's license.
Is this where I go to apply for medical?
For a minor you can come in person with ID for yourself and ID for your son. ID for your son can be a school ID, school records, medical records but not a birth certificate. You can go to SSA.gov for a full list of acceptable ID's.
