I can't say enough good things about Wescom. We've been members for 9 years, enjoying the benefits of their checking, savings, and other investment services. I just got an auto loan through them to buy a new-to-me car. Susan in the Sherman Oaks branch was so friendly and helpful. They gave me an AMAZING rate: 3.24% when a local Toyota dealer said the best he could do was 4.9%. I'm really happy with my entire experience here!

CLUELESS & RUDE! Rude people, had no idea how to handle business accounts and trust. Told me I could get HELOC on trust properties in name of trust. I doubted that was possible as I am commercial real estate agent. When I asked whose credit report would be used, they said mine and loan would have to be in my name which is what I thought. So why tell me it could be in trust name? CLUELESS! Susan is especially rude. She interrupts when you try to talk. She is quick to throw out stuff which is wrong and not applicable because she doesn't LISTEN. After wasting several hours on what should have been an easy bank account opening and 2 loan applications, I realized they are simply clueless. I did not open any accounts nor did I apply for any loans. Better to go elsewhere with people who listen to the situation and who know how to navigate the loan process.

I am currently a customer of Wescom Credit Union and my accounts are at the Sherman Oaks California branch. The service from the bank manager is terrible, and everything I was told when I brought my business to this bank thus far is not true, highly disappointed. The reason I had brought my business to this location was set a working relationship to establish history and bring my business banking to them as well. When discussing products with the Wescom reps on the phone it was not assistive either, the woman was put off by having to answer general questions regarding my accounts and the options I was interested in, she in fact disconnected the call before I had completed asking the questions I had for her. I would highly recommend that you look elsewhere if you are looking for a bank that is interested in working with you and providing a positive banking experience.
