As if you traveled far away and you're right in your own local backyard.. too bad not that many people know about it would be great for field trips very educational nicely set up with all the nature and trees and bushes and what they are...,😉

Ok so there might be a nice park here but I come here for the free mulch. Just bring a container and a shovel and take as much as you need. This really changed the appearance of my yard and it was free.

It's a little good walk, the top of the hill it's good for the little ones and going all the way down and coming up can be a little bit harder. Not sure if the portable restroom by the compost station is public otherwise there's no restrooms.

It's nice! There's 2 walks to do - 1 up by the parking lot at Long View Point, with a gorgeous view for sunsets. The 2nd walk is down below - from the parking lot, walk left (south) through the green gate, down the hill. Dogs have to be on a leash. Stay out of the bushes/plants areas because it's a habitat restoration site, with tiny little native plants growing. Look for bunnies, lizards, and red-tailed hawks!
