Oh my gosh! I just discovered this place after 10 years living in LA. It's got two floors of exhibits and a great gift shop, absolutely lovely and informative staff, and they also do craft workshops. I can't wait to go back for the next exhibit cycle. Also, it took just about 45-to an hour to get through the place doing a thorough walk through and having the staff educate us. Perfect size to not feel overwhelmed, but still feel super inspired. Love. Love. Love.

This is a crafts museum, you can find hand made items from various parts of the world. Very interesting and educational stuff for adults and children. Very helpful staff. Right across from the Page Museum on Wilshire. You can buy great gifts for nearly any one and it would be unique and lovely.

Have been here a few times. Last time for the blown glass exhibit. Wonderful viewing space, friendly staff, and nice gift shop.The nearest parking I found is across the street at the Page Museum.

There are three public lots within a block of the museum, as well as two-hour street parking. Craft Contemporary provides a $5 discount validation on weekends at 5750 Courtyard Place. Enter from Wilshire Blvd between Masselin and Curson.
You might want to consider a family craft night for your younger child.
There is timed on-street parking on side street and nearby pay lots.
There is a public metered parking lot next door
