It is a nice restaurant, located in downtown area of Claremont! I have been here several times. The meals, that I have ordered, were delicious. At the same time, they were well prepared. The wait time, for the meals, was not long. In addition, the waiters, who tended my table, were helpful and attentive. The cocktails, too, were well-made. So, I would recommend anyone who enjoys fine-dining, to visit this restaurant. Of course, prices were on the expensive side. Still, despite this inflation, they were worth it. Therefore, I will visit this restaurant again. However, first, I need to allocate discretionary funds.

We went to see a speaker and needed dinner after before we took the long drive home. I haven't been in Claremont for many years, but someone suggested going to the Village. We came upon Walter's, a place that I remember from my youth, and were thrilled to find that it was open late. We ordered dinner and I was so impressed by everything we had. Super tasty and the service was really great. We started with asparagus fries which came with a lime sauce that is to die for. My husband got chicken kebabs and I got the tandoori salmon. Everything was so good! Made for a nice impromptu date!

We had high expectations for Walters. Its an old mainstay of Claremont and we had heard high praise for Walters- multiple times .Full points on ambience and service. But alas food wasn't all that impressive. Lamb dishes lacked flavor and so did the pasta. The best dish on the table was the simple Goat Cheese pizza. The Afghan fries fell short on seasoning and flavor . The Asparagus fries were just ok. Dessert on the other hand was pretty good...the Tiramisu and Apricot tart saved the day. Really sad this one didn't meet the expectations!.

Yikes this place has gone downhill! We were sat outside & right away we could see things that this meal was going to be long. The table was very wobbly & tile pieces were missing. The salt & pepper shakers were dirty as well. When the grains are sticking to the inside of the glass shakers, that means the shakers haven’t been cleaned in a long time. We asked for new ones & they were “cleaner”. We also noticed it was extreme dirty outside. When was the last time someone cleaned the windows or dusted the place? Very, very dirty. Now on to the food: Mediocre. I ordered the chicken kebabs which sounded great but they fell flat. The rice was tasteless. They put some mushroom marinade on it as well and that was very distasteful. My dad ordered the turkey vegetable soup & a wedge salad. Both were okay. They only have 3 salad dressings: ranch, bleu cheese & their vinaigrette. My mom had the salmon with potatoes & veggies & she was the only one that had a good meal! Our server was great but the people who help him get the drinks/orders out made him look bad. Drinks were awful. We had water & it tasted dirty. My mom ordered a coca-cola & it was flat. We also ordered 2 sprites & they accidentally gave me club soda. Nothing special about this place. It just seems like one of those restaurants that are on their last legs still charging a lot of money to stay afloat. There are definitely better places to go & eat & I rather spend my money somewhere else.

Food handlers wearing masks and face shields, tables 8 feet apart or separated by dividers. Hand sanitizer all around the restaurant.
The answer is "yes", and you got it straight from the owner himself/herself, it doesn't get any better that!
Hi Patrick, there main ingredients are jalapeno, garlic and cilantro. And there is not much salt. Thank you Mary!
